The iconic Point West was formally The West London Air Terminal check-in facility for British European Airways. Located on the Cromwell Road in South Kensington, it was operational from the 6th of October 1957 to the 1st of January 1974.
It was subsequently converted to 400 apartments based over 14 floors. A variety of studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments are located over floors 1-9 whilst the 10th – 14th floors are the home to luxurious penthouse apartments and are served by a dedicated concierge desk.
In June 2017 the exclusive Harbour Club opened it’s doors on the commercial side of Point West and boasts 5 floors of luxury gym, spa and swimming facilities following a £5.5m refurbishment from the old David Lloyd club. Since 1983 a Sainsbury’s supermarket occupies the western half of Point West and currently opens 24 hours a day during the week.
